The Control Plane is the “brain” of the MindLab system. It is the deterministic, symbolic governance layer where human intent is translated into a machine-readable, auditable contract. The Orchestrator is the primary component of the Control Plane, and it is responsible for enforcing budgets, security gates, and all other aspects of governance.

Key Components

  • Orchestrator: The runtime Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) engine that intelligently coordinates the work of specialized agents.
  • Flow Engine: The stateful execution layer that ensures every workflow is executed with precision, predictability, and resilience.
  • Capsule Manifest: The declarative, version-controlled contract that defines the entire lifecycle of an AI-driven workflow.
  • Evaluation Loop / Proving Ground: The continuous TEVV (Test, Evaluation, Validation, and Verification) engine that evaluates every Capsule against the seven characteristics of trustworthy AI.
  • Audit Log / Watchtower: The immutable log that records every action taken by the system.
